Video License Issues on older Video (prior to Jan 2008)
If you are experiencing problems with the video license, DRM Networks CT provides you with a free helpful Systems Report Tool on the following compatibility tests:

Getting a Video License (DRM)
All PLAYGIRL TV videos require a secure license to watch. As a member, your member account already comes with a license that allows you to watch all of our videos. Before you watch a video of your choice, you have to download a license via a few easy steps:

Click on a Video Connection Speed of your choice
The Windows Media Player will appear
A new pop up window will appear, asking you to enter a username and password.
Enter your PLAYGIRL Member are username & password and check the "Remember My Password" box:?Then Press "OK".
Your new license is now being downloaded, once complete, you will see the following notification window: ?Press the "play" button to watch the video.

Video Watching Help
Your Video Player PLAYGIRL TV video can only be watched using the latest Windows Media Player, version 10 and Quicktime.

Choosing a Viewing Speed: The PLAYGIRL TV videos are broadcast in two speeds: medium speed and high speed; however, for optimum viewing capabilities PLAYGIRL TV highly recommends viewing the videos using a broadband connection.

Important Message for Mac Users: Videos added to the site after Jan 2008 can be viewed with Quicktime. All videos prior can only be accessed by Microsoft Media Player. Due to compatibility issues with our Licensing Security Software, the Apple OS and the Windows Media Player for Mac's, please note that your membership will not allow you to play any videos added prior to January 2008. We apologize for this inconvenience.

What type of Video Player do I need to watch the PLAYGIRL TV videos on-line?
PLAYGIRL TV video can be watched using the latest Windows Media Player and Quicktime.

When I select the medium speed connection, why is the PLAYGIRL TV video blurry?
The quality of the PLAYGIRL TV video is relative to the speed of your modem. If you are using a 56k modem to view a video, your connection speed may be too slow to get a high quality video stream. Therefore, the video may appear blurry or in some cases it may stop for a few seconds at a time. PLAYGIRL TV has drastically reduced the speed requirement for our medium speed option ensuring that everyone can see the video using any broadband Internet connection.

In the settings for the Windows Media Player, please be sure you have selected the proper modem speed. There are fields for minimum and maximum speeds, which if set incorrectly will limit the amount of bandwidth the incoming video stream can utilize.

Why does the low speed option take so long to load?
The PLAYGIRL TV videos are created using the latest in video and audio streaming technology. Unfortunately, these elements can take some time to preload on your computer.

Why does my computer crash when I try to view the PLAYGIRL TV video?
As with all programs and plug-ins, Windows Media Player and/or web browsers can freeze or crash your computer. This should not happen on a regular basis, but when using a demanding application like a streaming video player please close out of all other programs that might be using system resources. If it seems that the player you are using is causing continual problems, please contact the support department for Microsoft Windows Media Player problems here.

Why can I hear the PLAYGIRL TV video, but not see it?
If you have a modem with a speed of 28.8k, 33.6k, or 56k or an ISDN connection and select the high-speed program, your computer is not capable of displaying the video being broadcast and you will only hear the audio portion of the PLAYGIRL TV video. In addition, if you select the high speed program, have a Cable Modem or high speed DSL, are on a computer network with a fast connection at work or have access to any other form of broadband connection and your actual connection speed drops below 256k bits per second, then you will also only hear the audio portion of the PLAYGIRL TV videos. Some Netscape Navigator users have also encountered problems using Windows Media Player for viewing video broadcasts. If you are using Netscape Navigator, we suggest that you contact Netscape directly for support.

Why when I select a connection speed, the loading animation starts but the broadcast never finishes loading?
This occurs when your browser settings prevent ActiveX components from loading. In order to check this setting, select the "Tools" menu at the top of Internet Explorer. Next select "Internet Options" ---> then "Security" tab ---> click on "Custom Level" at the bottom of the window. Once in the settings, ensure that "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" is enabled. If this was set to "enabled", then you should download the latest version of the Windows Media Player here

I have Windows Media Player 10 installed, but my movies won't play!
If you have recently upgraded your PC with software or hardware, your sound drivers may have been corrupted. Please be sure that your sound drivers are properly installed in order to play Playgirl Movies.

When trying to view a video I get a "Script Error" Message. What's wrong?
Your computer needs to run "Active X" to play the movies. If you get a script error message, please click "OK" and then right click the bar on top of the small windows with your right mouse button, and chose to install Active X. Your computer will walk you through the installation which should only take a few minutes. Once the installation is done you will be able to play our movies.

Can my account be accessed by other people?
PlaygirlTV.com uses software that protects your secure Membership. If we notice that your account has been logged-in from a high number of locations, we will notify you via email.
